ZEE

Zee (“sea” in Dutch) is a dance on walking in search of a sense of connection. The two performers cause a whirlwind by the desire to catch up and become one another. An ongoing concentration isolates them while weaving bonds between their solitudes.

Zee is a meditation on the condition of being together and how these negotiations define, divide and unify individual(s).

In this “choreography of closeness, Daphne Koutsafti and Bahar Temiz create a new person that shares something with all of us.” (Kasia Torz)
